Local Argylls
Members of the local Battalion of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Territorials pictured during the First World War. This slightly damaged image was kindly supplied by Doris Gentles, whose father, Harry Smith, is in the picture fifth from the right in the second row. He was one of four brothers serving in the trenches, and two of them were severely wounded.
